Each and every day we take for granted when things are going well. We take for granted the goodness of God and how he has blessed us and saved us from ourselves and the people around us. How he is has not only rescued us from sin but how he has shielded us from trouble that we don’t even know about. Even in darkness my soul shouts Amen because when I begin to stop and think of the goodness of Jesus Christ and all that he has done for me I can’t contain how grateful I am. Yes there is trouble now and there will be trouble coming and yes things aren’t the way I hoped them to be but overall I think about how gracious Jesus has been to me and I can’t but help say Amen. Whatever your going though just say thanks… Whatever it is Just say thanks and God will bless you…

“Alone Before Him I Could Not Defend My Utter Lack Of Faith”
When I think about Jesus Christ and his role in life as the perfect one God and savior and his ability to change everything in my life and around me it makes me just scream at myself and cry even harder in dust and ashes over my pain. I find myself loosing my breath in the AWE of who he is and what he as accomplished to do in the hearts and minds of his chosen children. When I was in full time Christian ministry at different churches I always wanted to be the best in my lane and that was Christian education. I wanted to be the best debater and arguer for my points. But the more I have lived and fallen and experienced life in its raw and unforgiving way the more I know my calling in life is just to get people to Jesus. If following all the Christian rules is a prerequisite to getting into heaven I know that heaven will be empty. So my mission is just to get people to Jesus. I don’t care about you affiliations with whatever group you consider yourself to be in. I just want people to experience the relationship that Jesus Christ offers them personally on an individual basis. Every person ought to know this kind of love and experience this kind of grace in their lives and hearts. All of us on the playing field are guilty prisoners to something that controls apart of our existences but in Christ you can be unconditionally loved. I have seen so many of my family members and friends chase after lofty empty love that has no eternal foundation and end up emotionally bankrupted. I have been there many times chasing after moments of happiness that when they came they didn’t fulfill my expectations. But every time I have been with Jesus whole heartedly I recognize in that moment if I am obedient to his perfect will he will walk with me along the entire journey that I am facing. I am not saying in the physical it always works out the way I want it to but what I can say with confidence is that it will all make sense one day when I see Jesus for myself. I encourage you no matter what your place is in life or what other people have told you about yourself just go to Jesus and experience him for yourself. He alone will make all the difference.
…History Despite Its Wrenching Pain Cannot Be Unlived But If Faced With Courage Need Not Be Lived Again… #ChangeYourOwnLife
The ideal verses the reality is a topic that has been on my heart recently and I believe that we have to stop fanaticizing about our ideals or dreams that we have created in our own heads when it comes to the relationships and things that surround us. Its like the saying the “good old days”, well when we really stop to think about that we have to admit that even those days had its fair share of issues as well. What the past few weeks have taught me in my life personally is that on the road to becoming the best version of myself I cannot allow what I desire to run ahead of my present moment. I cannot be controlled of by hope nor can I be contained by my fear. Reality makes it simple my past not have been filled with roses like I made it out to be in my head but I cant let the fear of embracing what it really was stop me from learning the lessons that I need in order to equip myself for the future. Growth is a painful process and many times people around you who are stuck become collateral damage because they cant see the vision that you are on to preparing yourself for your moment but you cant let their personal feeling effect what you know to do for sure to help save yourself. Obedience is the key to any success and joy that you are seeking in order to fulfill and sustain your own life. You have to be obedient to whatever God is saying to you. You cant get caught up in all the outside noise and distractions. Stick to the plan and know that it will be painful as hell but when you face it you will gain the courage you need and that will stop you from repeating it again. Your Joy is found when you find God and enjoy him forever and the plan that he has for your life. Keep it moving. God’s got your back.

The older I get and the more I experience on each journey and path that life throws at me the more I found out that nothing in the physical can ever be counted on. Life happens. People’s feeling change, death happens, the unexpected comes from around the corner and blindsides you and the path of hell is paved with good intentions. In my experience the only thing that is for sure is prayer- taking time to talk to Jesus Christ about everything that is going on in your life is the only thing that is certain. Prayer is praising God for all that he is and has done, prayer is releasing yourself in order to surrender to whatever God’s will is for your life in that particular moment. Prayer is declaring and prophesying to yourself that all is well with your own soul. Prayer is stability, an anchor and a guide to assist you along life’s many journeys. When people say what do you know for sure my answer is that prayer takes you to a divine place of peace. Recently I have switched my mindset from looking for happiness to creating a new normal of living in Joy. Happiness are glimpses of moments in life that are pleasing but joy is a state of being that you are satisfied with whatever comes your way. If we are looking on counting on happiness we will continue to be unstable and ride a rollercoaster of emotions that only trivialize the purity of what life is about and that is enjoying God now and forever. And I would submit to you the only way to accomplish that is through deep and personal prayer. Prayer doesn’t have to be fancy lofty words; prayer can simple be God Help Me Now. As we embark upon this New Year I know we all have resolutions and goals that we would like to see happen: loosing weight, having better relationships, stopping a bad habit or improving your career. While all of these things are good and notable let us not forget our spiritual health. Everything in life changes, you know this, from family relationships, friendships, lovers, your health and even your church but God never changes he is always ready to engage you in conversation. So stay prayed up because that is what will get you through the worse days of your life and will also help you to fully appreciate the best days of your life.
Happy New Year And God Bless
