EveryDay With You....

Romans 8:26-28 (Amplified Bible)
26So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groaning too deep for utterance.
27And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will.(A)
28We are assured and know that [[a]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

What do you do when you don’t want to do anything? You sit, you pray and you remember in the dark what God told you in the light. In the dark you still praise Him because you remember that in the darkest hour of Jesus’ life on the cross; it was the brightest hour for human kind. As he suffered and bleed. As he was bruised and crushed that is when your salvation was bought. You and I would have given up, we would have commanded the angels come down and rescue us from the cross, but Jesus stayed till God was satisfied.

Remember what we call him: the Lamb of God, the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star. Remember who he is: the alpha and omega, the good shepherd, the closest friend you have ever had. Don’t forget that he has already predestined your days. That his love reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley and that when you call on him he will respond. If you seek- you will find; remember that God IS LOVE- that’s his attribute, his nature, his very being is love. So even when you don’t feel like your loved and even when you don’t feel like your being heard, He is there.

This is the God who told Noah to build a boat when no one had ever seen rain. This is the God who wept with Mary and Martha at the funeral of their beloved brother lazuras. This is the God who says I am the resurrection and the Life he who believes in me shall LIVE AGAIN. This is the God who walked with David in his darkest hour. Who gave Ruth her Boaz and who delights in the fellowship of His church.

We have to learn to encourage ourselves in the Lord. To trust in him when reality speaks against it. We have to remember that we are citizens of heaven and we can’t loose hope, for the battle is not ours but it belongs to the Lord. This is our God- whom we trust, find faithful, and depend on.

His name is Jesus and the blood that flows from Emmanuel’s veins will make us whiter than snow.
